About Us

Gary W. Lee, a native of Kentucky, moved to Jacksonville in 1976 to complete his accounting education at the University of North Florida. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting in 1978 and has been serving the accounting and tax needs of businesses and individual clients for over 40 years. The initial 26 years of experience was with the Jacksonville accounting firm of Masters, Smith & Wisby, PA performing auditing, accounting and tax services to privately held business in various industries. They included: construction, banking, retail, restaurants and various service industries. After serving as a partner for 16 years, Gary decided to tweak his accounting practice and pursue his passion of assisting clients more directly with their businesses. Moving his practice to the Beaches area in 2004, Gary’s continuing goal is to partner with his clients and handle the accounting and compliance side of their business so that the owners can focus directly on their business’s success. Services include: reviewing and establishing accounting systems, financial statement preparation, financial ratio analysis, tax return preparation and business and tax planning.

LeAnne earned her accounting degree in 1984, and has been with Gary W. Lee, PA since the firm’s inception in 2004. She has extensive experience with various accounting software programs, including many industry-specific software platforms for construction, funeral service, restaurants, and retail. In addition to being our go-to gal for payroll, LeAnne is our out-sourcing specialist, visiting clients’ offices to handle their day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping functions on a regular basis. LeAnne is a St. Augustine native, traces her ancestry back to its founders, and is a very proud member of the Gator Nation!

Tim is a native of Jacksonville and joined the team in December of 2020. Tim received his BS degree in Accounting from the University of Alabama in 1983 and passed the CPA exam in November of 1983. He also received an MBA from the University of Phoenix in 2007. He has held various positions since graduating in 1983 with different public accounting and private companies. Tim will be specializing in Corporate and Individual Tax Returns as well as Financials. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, watching sports and playing racquetball.

A native of the Outer Banks of NC, Aida Dansby joined Gary’s team in 2014 as Office Administrator and Accounting Assistant. This UNC Tarheel has extensive nautical and aviation experience, and uses her background as an entrepreneur/small business owner to in turn assist and inspire our clients. Whether it’s bookkeeping, consulting or support, she’s here with a genuine enthusiasm to help. When not in the office, you’ll find Aida on her mat practicing yoga.

Shelly joined the team in September 2017. She has a BS in Business Administration from University of Indianapolis and has backgrounds in Construction Management, Retail Management, Non-Profit and Event Coordination. All of which make her bookkeeping abilities an asset to us and our clients. Shelly is also working on our social media and website presence.

Allyson joined us in October, 2020. She has a strong background in banking, credit and collections and has previously worked with some of our clients, which is advantageous I account handling. Allyson is mom to two adventurous and kindhearted boys that keep her busy while she continues to quench her thirst for knowledge, love of humanity and daily, personal growth.
